Bollywood actress Sunny Leone is all geared up to address her life story through Zee 5 ‘s web series ‘Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone’ despite having issues with the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) for using the name ‘Kaur’ in the title.

The committee has objected to the use of "Kaur" in the title of the film which is going to premiere on Zee5 on July 16. Diljit Singh Bedi, SGPC's additional secretary and spokesperson, told a leading newspaper that the usage would hurt Sikh sentiments as Sunny did not follow the teachings of the Sikh Gurus. Hence, she had no right to use the title ‘Kaur’.

However, the actress refused to comment on the issue instead took to the Twitter and wrote, "The next chapter of my life starts in a few days! Are you ready to take the journey with me through my eyes? #guiltyofdoingitmyway @ZEE5India @namahpictures @freshlimefilms@adidatt #karenjitkaur."

Sunny Leone came to fame in India when she entered the Bigg Boss house as a contestant in 2011. She made her Bollywood debut with ‘Jism 2’ in 2012. The actress is happily married to Daniel Weber and is a mother of three- Nisha (whom the couple adopted in 2017), Noah and Asher (via surrogacy).
