Andhadhun to be made in Telugu by director Merlapaka Gandhi

Popular Bollywood film Andhadhun, starring National-Award winning Ayushmann Khurrana will soon be remade in Telugu. As per reports, actor Nithiin be playing the lead in this version of the film, which is untitled yet.

The project produced by N. Sudhakar Reddy will go on floors soon and will be directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. The launch was recently held in Hyderabad, and renowned analyst Taran Adarsh shared the same on Twitter with a message, "#AndhaDhun #Telugu remake launched in #Hyderabad today... #Nithiin will reprise the role #AyushmannKhurrana had portrayed in #Hindi version... Not titled yet... Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi... Produced by N Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy... Filming begins June 2020."

Nithiin has been popular for films like "Srinivasa Kalyanam" and "Chal Mohan Ranga". More details about the other cast are not revealed yet.

Andhadhun was directed by Sriram Raghavan and is a comedy crime thriller where the lead is a piano player who pretending to be blind. He witnesses a murder and that's where the journey unfolds. Andhadhun also starred renowned Tabu and Radhika Apte.
