Parel - 94th anniversary of Sahkari Manoranjan Mandal was celebrated at Damodar hall, Parel on Saturday. Eminent theatre personalities were felicitated on this occasion. Veteran theatre artist Jayant Savarkar was given Dattaram memorial award while Ananda Nadoskar got Bhalchandra Pendharkar memorial award, Ramesh Bhide received N. M. Joshi memorial award and Ashalata Mahajan received Jayashree Shejwadkar memorial award. On this occasion various entertainment programs like musicals, devotional "Vidhucha jagar " and one act playwriting, mono acting competitions were organised and the winners were awarded. MLA Ajay Choudhary, Sahkari Manoranjan Mandal president Pramod Tambe, secretary K Raghav Kumar were also amongst who were present for the occassion.
