In SRK’s movie ‘Fan’, the unpleasant side of fandom was depicted very decorously and also, because of social media platforms, we do come across such circumstances from time to time. Recently, TV actor Gurmeet Choudhary had to face an ugly situation. The actor took to his Twitter account to share his dilemma that a fan wanted to commit suicide to prove his love for Gurmeet.
Gurmeet tweeted, "Am receiving concerned calls and msgs from fans all over that some person wants to commit suicide to prove his fandom!! But I request I love you all and care but this kind of behavior is loathed extremely as well as creates trauma. Apparently, this guy in the pic wants to kill me.”
