The legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan recently wrapped up his shoot for Sony TV’s game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 and expressed his gratitude towards the team and its spectators for making it a huge success.
Elaborating more about the KBC 9 journey, Big B wrote on his blog, KBC draws to an end .. and the signs of its finishing become abundant.
It is perhaps the most common expression in modern times and state .. and the most relished .. nothing in the world of today ever is complete without that eventual ‘selfie’ - even when one has agreed to a ‘pic’ with the lady or gentlemen .. there is this sense of personalisation I would imagine with the ‘selfie’ .. so be it ..
But this most complicated game show would never be the same if it were not for the dedicated and most constructive team of almost 450 personnel, working tirelessly round the clock in the varied and various departments of the show.
To them my salutations .. they make the appearance the cheer the suspense the quizzing .. all look so unimaginably great gracious and generous, that even this very weak attempt at an alliteration pales before it ...
Thank you dear KBC team for your patience and your efficiency .. your detailing and the intelligent outputs in its programming .. the coordination and the execution of all that is required and at times not required .. haha he .. that was a little side one with those that I deal with and flush past them in mirth ...
Yes it drains you .. it diminishes your faculties by the end of the day .. BUT .. there is something that invites you each morning as you get up to ready yourself for the gruel in the day of the contest .. those times spent at the meeting of minds in preparation , those discussions and structuring of the game .. that complicated computerised systems, many and large in number, and those men behind them .. those lovely ladies that tirelessly work in great companionship mode to bring all queries to the fore and to resolve them instantly .. and those most neglected of all .. the workers that run along above our heads on the most complicated and intricate sets, making sure each and every one of those million lights and mechanics, works without any drawback throughout .. it is quite quite miraculous .. !!
Thank you all .. for making this another historic event in the history of the show .. 17 years ago it created history and you have made it happen again .. that is no small task .. the show is No 1 in its rankings and has brought the Channel Sony to No 1 position .. !! … exactly what it did in the past .. in the year 2000 ...
The young of the country need to be applauded .. for they have given the show immense vision and support .. as they ‘play along’ it has created a different kind of connect with the audience .. that is remarkable ...

KBC 9 is the most viewed show on Sony TV which is ranking in the top 5 list of TRP chart from past few weeks.
