Mumbai - When popular action star Vin Diesel stepped out of Mumbai airport at 8 am on Thursday, he was greeted with a warm Maharashtrian welcome.
The actor who was accompanied by Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, his 'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage' co star, sportingly acknowledged the 'tilak' applied on his forehead by girls dressed in traditional red nau-vari saris with yellow turbans on their heads. The two held hands, smiled and waved to the paparazzi before Diesel, whose real name is Mark Sinclair, disappeared back into the airport. He then took the VIP exit and made for the St Regis hotel where he is put up during his Mumbai stay.
The film premieres in the city this Friday.
