Dahisar- Over thousand liters of water are wasted daily in the Shanti Nagar area of Dahisar. Two and a half hours water supply is provided in the area, from 8:30am -11:00am onwards. There is a leakage in the pipeline and thus every day for those 2.5hrs, thousand litres of water gets wasted. Residents have reported the problem in BMC’s R/North ward but no response has been received from their end. It seems slogans won’t save water, but repairing the pipeline will surely do.
