The air quality in Navi Mumbai has improved significantly due to intermittent rains over the past few days. According to the latest data from the Central Pollution Control Board, the air quality level in the city has improved since Sunday. On Monday too, the city's air quality index was recorded at 36. Therefore, weather experts have said that the air in Navi Mumbai is currently clean and healthy, and the citizens of the city have breathed a sigh of relief.

The city's air quality has been in the 'moderate' to 'poor' category for the past few weeks. Between October 19 and 21, the city's air quality index averaged between 170 and 190. However, due to the series of rains over the last three days, the amount of dust in the air has decreased, and the air in the city has become clean again. The city's air quality index was recorded at 50, 58, 40 and 36 on Monday, respectively, from Friday, which falls within the 'good' category of the air quality index level.

The administration is also taking measures to ensure that this situation persists, and initiatives such as fogger systems and city sanitation are being implemented.
