Now that the part of Aarey has been declared a forest, people are wondering what would happen to the proposed car shed.

Currently, the government has is evaluating two locations - Kanjurmarg and Pahadi-Goregaon. Metro 3 car shed site and if things progress in the manner that they are going then the new site may be zeroed in within the next six months.

While people wait to know the new location of the Metro 3 car shed, it is clear that the Uddhav Thackeray led government is keen to move the location from Aarey. It is also to be seen with the new car shed and the coronavirus outbreak, what would be the new competition date for Metro 3 project.
