NMMT Launches Special Women’s Bus Services via Atal Setu from August 14

The Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT) currently operates 70 bus routes including 24 general and 46 air-conditioned (AC) routes within and beyond Navi Mumbai. These routes connect areas such as Mumbai, Borivali, Thane, Bhiwandi, Dombivli, Kalyan, Dahisar, Ambernath, Badlapur, Panvel, Khopoli, Karjat, Rasayani, and Uran.

Around 2.27 lakh passengers travel daily on these routes, of which 1 lakh are women, thanks to the 50% concession offered to female passengers.

To further support women commuters, NMMT is launching special AC bus services exclusively for women on the Atal Setu (MTHL) route from Thursday, August 14, 2025.

These routes include:

• Route No. 116: From Turbhe Depot/Nerul Bus Station to Kharkopar, via World Trade Centre

• Route No. 117: From Kharghar Sector 35 to Palaspe Phata, via World Trade Centre

Timings for these buses will be as per the schedule published by NMMT.
