Ghatkopar - Savitribai Phule played an important role in improving women's rights in India during British rule. A programme was organised on the account of his birth anniversary. Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao campaign was reinstated in Pant Nagar on Wednesday at 2 pm. The campaign was carried out in a primary school run by Vanita Vikas Mandal. Female teachers were also present at the moment and they were felicitated too. Various programmes will be organised from 3 January - 25 January.
