Lalbaug- Ganesh Galli Sarvajanik Mandal 2016 has been awarded as a safe Mandal. During this Ganesh festival, more than 200 Ganesh Mandals had followed various security measures. Fire and Security of India gave away the award to Ganesh Gali Sarvajanik Mandal for maintaining high level security. Mandal’s secretary Swapnil Parab said, “We had installed CCTV cameras and were placed security guards in our area. We also got help from Mumbai police who helped us to maintain security”.
