KC College Department of Mass Media held the launch for its annual media festival Blitzkrieg recently at Kaama in Lower Parel and the festival is scheduled for the 28th and 29th September.
The theme for Blitzkrieg 2017, Iconic Movie Characters, was revealed at the launch, as was the logo of the fest. Blitzkrieg 2017 celebrates iconic characters from both Hollywood and Bollywood and also aims to pay tribute to real life icons. This year the contingents will include characters such as Mogambo, Gabbar, Chulbul Pandey, Joker, James Bond and Jack Sparrow.
Actors, Aadar Jain and Anya Singh attended the event to promote their upcoming film, “Qaidi Band”, which will be coming out soon under the Yash Raj Films banner. They shared their personal experiences while making the movie in a lively interaction with the audience. Following a screening of the film trailer, they answered questions from the students about the film and its making. They also danced with the interacted with the audience.
Talking about the same Principal, Dr. Hemlata Bagla said, "Blitzkrieg has been a huge success in previous years and we are hoping for similar participation and outcome this time too."
The festival is considered to be one of the best mass media festivals in Mumbai, with participation from over 40 colleges from across the city. It is now in its 15th year and is highly anticipated by all.
