Sion - Sadhu Meher is one of the noted personalities of Bollywood who will be honoured with Padma Shri for his contribution towards Indian cinema.
On the occasion of same, Sion’s Panchshil Tenant Welfare Association decided to felicitate him by organising a small programme at Raoli Camp, Sion. An Orissa resident Sadhu Meher spent his 40 years at Sion’s K. D. Gaikwad Nagar. “We feel honoured that we are his neighbours. We decided to honour him from our side took this opportunity to felicitate him,” said Satish Ghusal, general secretary, Panchshil Tenant Welfare Association. BEST committee member, Congress spokesperson and former corporator Ravi Raja felicitated Sadhu Meher.
Sadhu Meher has contributed to Indian cinema in the form of an ace actor and director. He has not only worked in Hindi films but has worked in Hindi, Bengali, and Odiya languages.
