Dadar- Vanita Samaj Gaurav award ceremony was organized at Vanita Samaj Hall. Director of Dilasa Care Centre of Nashik, Ujjwala Jagtap, bagged this year’s Vanita Gaurav award. She was awarded certificate, memento, and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000. Every year, this award is given to a person who gives works relentlessly in social service.
Meanwhile, Vanita Samaj launched ‘Kaumudini’ magazine by Mumbai University’s former vice-chancellor Snehalata Deshmukh. Also, five women got the awards for their outstanding writing in the same. “In comparison to men, women have more patience and are more stable, that strengthens her,” said Snehlata Deshmukh.
