It's the much-awaited festive time of the year in Mumbai one should not have any obstacles or apprehensions to celebrate these days. Forgetting all the political differences, Mumbai's strongest politicians cum competitors visited mandals and homes to seek Bapa's blessings in Ganeshotsav. While MNS president Raj Thackeray visited BJP leader and Education Minister Ashish Shelar's Ganpati, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray seeked Bappa's blessings are Congress leader Kripashankar Singh's house.

During the Lok Sabha elections, Raj Thackeray has used his analytical senses to deliver a strong speech against the BJP. Ashish Shelar who was contending from the BJP delivered an equally strong competition keeping Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah's reputation in mind. But when Thackeray received an invitation for the Ganeshotsav festival, he keep the politics aside and visited Shelar's Ganapati Mandal to be a part of the event.

In a similar fashion, keeping the festive spirits high, Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray also visited Bappa at senior Congress leader Kripashankar Singh's home. Besides Uddhav Thackeray, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis also visited Ganapati visited Singh's home to celebrate the event. This is the second year in a row, where Fadnavis has visited Singh's home for Ganpati, and as per sources, this is considered important as Singh is said to be moving from Congress to BJP.
