In the midst of falling COVID-19 cases reported in Maharashtra, the state government has issued guidelines for the celebration of Holi and Dhulivandan, stated reports.

According to accounts, the rules mention that citizens will not be permitted to celebrate Holi after 10 pm. Apart from this, DJs will also not be permitted during the celebration of Holi. The regulations reportedly remark that hiring a DJ may result in legal action.

Based on narratives, the guidelines have spelt that loudspeakers must not be utilized loudly taking into consideration the present board examinations of the SSC and HSC students. It has also been reported that paint or water balloons should not be forced on others, highlighted the rules.

In other developments, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) on the Central and Western Railways has decided to set up patrols along the railway tracks. Apart from this, they have decided to carry out a public awareness campaign, cited reports.

Moreover, it has been stated that water-filled bags and balloons will not be allowed on the running locals. In addition, legal action will be taken against anyone found throwing balloons and bags. The RPF has also warned that throwing bags on a running locomotive is a crime and if anyone is found doing so, they will be prosecuted under the Railway Act, claimed narratives.
