Shiv Jayanti Utsav Samiti began their 38 Shiv Jayanti celebrations from Monday by organising a running event. Volunteers of the Samiti bought the shivjyot by running from Shivneri fort to Ghatkopar. Youngsters as well as women had participated in the run.
On 15 March, Shiv Rath procession will be carried out in Mumbai. This procession will begin at Ghatkopar’s Parshiwadi, and will pass through Bhatwadi, Ghatkopar station, and will conclude at Amrut Nagar circle. “Thousand of Shivaji followers will participate in the procession,” said Kalpesh Shelar, president, Utsav Samiti.
