Nariman Point hosts festival to encourage grape farming

Drakhsh Bhoomi Prathisthan had organised a day long Grapes Festival to promote farmers who are engaged in grape farming at the Manora, MLA hostel in Nariman Point on Wednesday.

The program was inaugurated by State Agriculture and Horticulture Minister Pandurang Phundkar. Grapes of various varieties were exhibited in this festival.On this occasion, Phundkar expressed his happiness and said that this step will give a new power to the farmers' grape production.

The festival was attended by MLA Suman Patil, MLA Suresh Khade, MLA Jogendra Kawade, MLA Balasaheb Patil, MLA Ramrao Wadkute, MLA Khwaja Baig and MLA Baliram Shiraskar, among others Manish Autade, Uddhav Salunkhe, Malhar Takle, Pankaj Mohad, officials of various departments, a large number of employees and citizens were present.
