India has emerged as quite the destination for vegans from across the world because there are so many dishes that are easily available, and yet, totally vegan.
But what would a vegan do when it comes to having a favourite beverage considering most of them would have some dairy component? Most of the offerings at the chain are designed keeping in mind healthy beverage and food options for patrons in a non-dairy base.
With veganism picking up as a trend, all of the brand’s drinks are vegan. The drinks are specially put together using non-dairy cream – a new concept in India. All of the chain’s beverages including their array of milkshakes, yoghurt shakes, iced teas and iced coffees are vegan, dairy and lactose-free. However, none of them is created using the regular vegan options of soy.
Interestingly, drinks still taste exactly like dairy products. Explaining the vegan beverage choices at Dr Bubbles, Adnan Sarkar, Founder, says,
We have tried to recreate dairy in a very innovative non-dairy kind of way. We have a nice thick milkshake, lassis and even yoghurt in non-dairy options. The drink is funkier and it will have one-fourth of the calories of a regular dairy shake. It is healthier, lighter, but is much rich and creamy exactly like dairy products at the same time.”
Dr Bubbles is also set to introduce to its classic menu a range of delectable Vegan Shakes with Bubbles and Jellies.
Dr Bubbles is credited with bringing authentic Taiwanese Bubble Tea to Mumbai in 2015 by customising the flavour to suit the tastes of Indians. Dr Bubbles made its debut in Mumbai with stores located in Mumbai at Hill Road and Carter Road in Bandra. But with growing demand, the chain recently launched more stores not just in Mumbai, but across India too. Total 12 stores are established in Mumbai and 32 Outlets across India through franchisee route.
