For the first time in Indian Navy history, INS HAMLA (The logistics Training Establishment) had organised a seminar on food and nutrition which was then followed by a food festival at Marve. The event saw many noted chefs along with Navy commandors who marked their presence. Post the seminar, a food festival was organised at the sea front with a breathtaking view. However, prior to a food festival, the cake was cut which was a replica of ‘Vikramaditya’. Eight noted chefs of 5-star restaurants were also felicitated at the event, and they also served their delicacies. The one of a kind, most awaited food festival in the fraternity started where noted chefs presented their delicacies. Right from Lebanese to Malvani and from Italian to Pav Bhaji, it was indeed a funfilled day for Navy personnel who rightly deserved a break.
