The fourth edition of the Borivali Premier Football League (BPFL) - 2019, to be organized under the auspices of MDFA by the Borivali Sports Foundation is scheduled to commence at the St. Francis D’Assisi High School ground, Borivali (West) from Saturday, June 22, 2019.

Twelve teams, which would consist of approximately 275 players overall, will be fighting it out for the top honours in the BPFL, which is gaining popularity amongst the football fraternity in Borivali.

The participating teams have been divided into two groups and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals on Saturday, August 3 and the winners will clash in the final, which is scheduled for Sunday, August 4. The losing semi-finalists will contest the Third place match to be played before the final.

The champions, runners-up and third place winners, will be presented with trophies and cash awards. There will also be individual prizes. As in the previous years, matches will be played on Saturday morning and Sunday in the morning and evenings.

The participating teams

Group-A: Fleetfooters SC, Maryland United, Kajupada FC, Friends United, Shelar FC, Vibrant FC.

Group-B: Milan Club,  Challengers FC, Gorai FC, ND2 Soccer Starz, Myrmidons Sporting Club, Tigers Sports.
