On June 12, Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Mumbai City announced an addition to their team as I-League outfit Real Kashmir FC player Surchandra Singh was signed by the Islanders. The 25-year-old is a versatile player who is a box-to-box midfielder and can also play on the wings.
Previously, he had made 16 appearances for Real Kashmir FC and has three goals to his name. He has previously been part of DSK Shivajians, Churchill Brothers and Mohun Bagan.

Prior to this, the Islanders also signed NorthEast United FC player Rowlin Borges on a three-year contract. Borges would definitely be a level up for Mumbai City who already has the likes of Pablo Machado, Raynier Fernandes, and Milan Singh.
