Deccan XI FC, Pune got the better of Utkarsh Krida Manch FC, Pune by a 3-1 score line in a Group-A match of the 2nd WIFA Women's Football League 2019-2020, at the Cooperage ground on Thursday.

In a battle between Pune outfits, Deccan XI took the lead through Ritu Francis in the 28th minute. But, their joy was short-lived as four minutes later Utkarsh Krida Manch found the equalizer when Vaishnavi Joshi found the target in the 32nd minute.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Football School of India (FSI), Thane scored at the start of the first half and one more in the final minute of the same period and went on to record a 2-1 win against Community Football Club of India (CFCI) in a Group-C match of the 2nd WIFA Women's Football League 2019-2020, at the Cooperage ground.
