180 new COVID-19 cases were found in Navi Mumbai on Wednesday (November 25) while five patients have died.

Navi Mumbai reported 180 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday (November 25) talking the tally up to 47,550. While 45,072 have completely recovered, five people have lost their lives and the death toll is at 969. At present 1,503 patients are undergoing treatment in Navi Mumbai. While the recovery rate is at 95 per cent.

On Wednesday, 41 new cases were found in Belapur, 34 in Nerul, 25 in Vashi, 12 in Turbhe, 17 in Koparkhairane, 15 in Ghansoli, 32 in Airoli and four in Digha. While, 99 people have completely recovered from which is 14 from Belapur, 18 from Nerul, 15 from Vashi, 11 from Turbhe, 13 from Koparkhairane, 12 Ghansoli, 16 from Airoli.

Navi Mumbai Mumbai Municipal Corporation has set up coronavirus test centres at railway stations for the travellers who are coming from other states to reduce the spread of coronavirus. The facility has been made available at Vashi, Nerul and Belapur railway station from Monday and on the first day, 350 passengers were tested. Due to the increasing number of coronavirus patients, the municipal administration has decided to conduct maximum coronavirus tests in the city. The Municipal Commissioner has appealed to all the railway passengers to cooperate with the railway staff to get control over the coronavirus by conducting maximum tests.

Maharashtra reported 6,159 new COVID-19 cases, 4,844 recoveries and 65 death on Wednesday (November 25) taking the total number of cases in the state to 17,95,959. The total number of recovered patients in Maharashtra are 16,63,723. While the death toll is at 46,748 in Maharashtra.
