The number of coronavirus cases has been on a constant rise in Kalyan-Dombivali Municipal Corporation (KDMC) region. Despite the measures taken by the authorities, the number of cases in this area is constantly spiking. The total number of coronavirus cases in the KDMC region stands at 18,981.
Kalyan-Dombivali on Tuesday recorded 268 new cases of coronavirus and 9 deaths were recorded. From the last few days, KDMC has been recording 450 to 550 cases daily. On Tuesday 381 patients recovered from coronavirus. To date, 10,428 patients have been recovered in the KDMC region.
Different areas in KDMC where new cases are found include 42 from Kalyan East, 67 from Kalyan West, 101 from Dombivali East, 47 from Dombivali West, 5 from Manda-Titwala, 5 from Mohana and 1 from Pisvali. Currently, 5,910 patients are being treated for coronavirus in the KDMC region.
A relaxation in the lockdown has been given in areas which don't come under high-risk areas.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the state stands at 3,27,031 and more than 1.8 lakh cases being cured.
