Forty-two new cases of COVID-19 were reported as on Monday, November 9 in Mira-Bhayander. According to Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC), three patients died due to coronavirus infection.

On Monday, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Mira-Bhayander touched at 23,123. Also, the death toll has reached to 739. On the same day, 71 people have recovered from the disease, which brings the count of total recovered patients to 21,644.

According to the area-wise data, on Monday, eight cases from Bhayandar (East), seven from Bhayander (West) and 27 from Mira Road were reported.

Mumbai saw a spike of 599 new cases on Monday, taking the number of overall cases to 2.65 lakh. Meanwhile, the number of recoveries increased to 2.37 lakh with 507 more patients getting discharged.

Maharashtra reported 3,277 new COVID-19 cases, nearly 2,000 fewer cases compared to Sunday. With the spike, the overall tally has increased to 17,23,135. India too has managed to tame the daily case count below the 50,000-mark.

With 45,903 new COVID-19 infections reported in the last 24 hours, the country's total cases surged to 85,53,657. The death toll has mounted to 1,26,611, with 490 new casualties. The total number of active cases in the nation now stands at 5,09,673.
