Mira-Bhayandar reported 47 new COVID-19 cases taking the tally up to 24,132 on Sunday (November 29). According to Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC), 56 people have completely recovered in the last 24 hours. No death has been registered in Mira-Bhayandar. So far, 22,767 have a complete recovery. The death toll stands at 756.
If we divide the cases in the area, 10 cases from Bhayandar East, 2 from Bhayander West and 35 from Mira Road have been reported.
Maharashtra reported 5,544 new COVID-19 cases, 4,362 recoveries and 85 deaths on Sunday (November 29), taking the total number of cases in the state to 18,20,059. There are 90,997 active cases in the state and 16,80,926 patients have recovered so far. The death toll is at 47,071 in Maharashtra.
In total 1,08,04,422 people have been tested in Maharashtra. The states recovery rate is 92.36 per cent, while the mortality rate is 2.59 per cent.
Meanwhile, India reported 41,810 new COVID-19 cases, 42,298 recoveries and 496 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the tally up to 93,92,920, according to the data by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday (November 29). While in total 88,02,267 have completely recovered. The death toll is at 1,36,696 in the country. At present, there are 4,53,956 active cases.
