On Wednesday, 52 new COVID-19 cases were found in Panvel municipal area whereas 70 patients were recovered and discharged from the hospital.

Among the new patients found in Panvel municipal area 4 are from Panvel, 3 from New Panvel, 2 from Khanda Colony, 6 from Kalamboli, 4 from Kamothe and 33 from Kharghar.

Amongst the cured patients 5 are from Panvel, 13 from New Panvel, 12 from Kalamboli, 14 from Kamothe and 26 from Kharghar.

Out of total 24,198 coronavirus patients registered in Panvel Municipal Corporation till date, 23,155 patients have recovered and discharged while 563 people have died. At present, there are 480 active patients of Corona in Panvel Municipal Corporation.

Navi Mumbai recorded 19 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday while 3 patients have died. The total number of patients in Navi Mumbai are 45,745.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra on Wednesday reported 4,907 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the total count of infections to 17,31,833 as per state health department. With 125 more patients succumbing to the viral infection the death toll mounted to 45,560. A total of 9,164 patients were discharged during the day, taking the tally of recoveries to 15,97,255. The state now has 88,070 active cases.
