Navi Mumbai reported 59 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, January 19 talking the tally up to 52,296. While 50,408 people have made a complete recovery from this disease, one death has been reported and the death toll now stands at 1,076. At present, 812 patients are undergoing treatment in Navi Mumbai. While the recovery rate is at 96 per cent.

On Tuesday, 16 new cases were found in Belapur, 10 in Nerul, eight in Vashi, four in Turbhe, two in Koparkhairane, nine in Ghansoli, 25 in Airoli and four from Digha.

While, the recovered patients are 12 from Belapur, 12 from Nerul, 17 from Vashi, 10 from Turbhe, four from Koparkhairane, three from Ghansoli and eight from Airoli.

On Tuesday, January 19, Maharashtra recorded 2,294 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus. This propelled the state's COVID-19 tally to 19,94,977. Currently, there are 48,406 active cases in the state. With 4,516 COVID-19 patients discharged in the day, the number of recovered soared to 18,94,839.

More than 50 people from the state have lost their lives to this disease in the last 24 hours while the total has now mounted to 50,523. While 2,18,058 persons are under home quarantine, 1,996 others have been admitted to institutional quarantine centres. The COVID-19 recovery rate and fatality rate in the state stand at 94.98 per cent, and 2.53 per cent respectively.

Meanwhile, India reported 13,823 new cases, 16,988 recoveries and 162 deaths taking the tally up to 1,05,95,660 on Tuesday, January 19. According to the data by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in total 1,02,45,741 have completely recovered. The death toll is at 1,52,718 in the country. At present, there are 1,97,201 active cases. According to the ICMR, 18,85,66,947 samples have been tested up to January 19. So far, 6,74,835 healthcare workers have been vaccinated in the country.
