Navi Mumbai reported 80 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, January 13 talking the tally up to 51,921. While 49,982 people have made a complete recovery from this disease, one death has been reported and the death toll now stands at 1,071. At present, 868 patients are undergoing treatment in Navi Mumbai. While the recovery rate is at 96 per cent.

On Wednesday, 14 new cases were found in Belapur, 15 in Nerul, 13 in Vashi, 10 in Turbhe, nine in Koparkhairane, seven in Ghansoli and eight in Airoli.

Coming over to recovered patients, seven are from Belapur, two from Nerul, six from Vashi, 14 from Turbhe, six from Koparkhairane, five from Ghansoli and three from Airoli.

On Wednesday, January 13, Maharashtra recorded 3,556 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus. This propelled the state's COVID-19 tally to 19,78,044. Currently, there are 52,365 active cases in the state. With 3,009 COVID-19 patients discharged in the day, the number of recovered soared to 18,74,279.

More than 70 people from the state have lost their lives to this disease in the last 24 hours while the total has now mounted to 50,221. While 2,26,599 persons are under home quarantine, 2,496 others have been admitted to institutional quarantine centres. The COVID-19 recovery rate and fatality rate in the state stand at 94.75 per cent, and 2.54 per cent respectively.

Meanwhile, India reported 16,946 new cases, 17,652 recoveries and 198 deaths taking the tally up to 1,05,12,093 on Wednesday, January 13. According to the data by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in total 1,01,46,763 have completely recovered. The death toll is at 1,51,727 in the country. At present, there are 2,13,603 active cases. According to the ICMR, 18,42,32,305 samples have been tested up to January 13.
