The Maharashtra government had earlier extended the lockdown on August 31, in the entire state until September 30 besides relaxing the restrictions as part of Mission Begin Again.

In the fourth phase of the Unlock, the state government has permitted the inter-district movement of persons and goods without the need for any permission. Moreover, hotels and lodges have been allowed to operate at 100 per cent capacity. Additionally, government and private offices can function with more people than before. What remains to be seen is how the state fares now since regular operations are being resumed like before.
