Coronavirus Outbreak: Dos and Don'ts That one should follow

Following are the precautionary measures for coronavirus by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

The coronavirus that started from Wuhan in China has now made its way to Mumbai. Two people have tested positive in the city, while the tally in the state stands at 11.

Here are the precautionary measures that the WHO is recommending: 

Wash your hands frequently:
Do it as regularly as possible. Clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or wash them with good old soap and water.      

Maintain social distance
Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. 

Avoid touching ur eyes, nose and mouth
Our Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up the virus. Once contaminated, through our hands the virus can infect us and make us ill. 


Practice respiratory hygiene
Make sure you and the people around you follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately. If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care immediately. 

Stay home if you feel unwell.
If you have a fever, cough and difficulty in breathing, seek medical attention. Follow the directions given by local health authority.
