A 1700 mm diameter Morbe main water pipeline, which supplies water to the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) area and runs along Palm Beach Road, has been experiencing frequent leakages near Akshar Building, Sector 46, Nerul. To address this, a new pipeline has been laid in the affected area. The work of connecting the new pipeline to the old one on both ends is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 18, 2025.

As a result, the water supply through the main pipeline will be shut down for 18 hours, from 10:00 am on Friday, July 18, 2025, to 4:00 am on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

During this period, water supply will be completely suspended in Belapur, Nerul, Vashi, Turbhe, Sanpada, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli, Airoli. Additionally, areas with direct water connections from the main pipeline and CIDCO zones such as Kharghar and Kamothe will also be affected.

There will be no water supply on Friday evening, July 18 and Saturday morning July 19. On Saturday evening, July 19, residents may experience low-pressure or inadequate water supply.

Citizens are requested to use water judiciously during this period and cooperate with the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
