Docs hurt in melee at civic hospital

Kandivali - Chaos reigned at the Shatabdi Hospital around 11 pm on 6 October. Injured members of two squabbling groups from Ganesh Nagar who reached the hospital for treatment, clashed once again the hospital premises. Hospital staff who intervened too were beaten up in the melee. The emergency ward witnessed stone pelting between the two groups, doctors and security guards were hurt and hospital property was damaged in the process. A case was filed and Jeetendra Dhulia, Dharmendra Dhulia and Iliyas Balim were arrested, according to senior police inspector at Kandivali police station, Mukund Pawar.
