Ghatkopar - Sangit Kadam was recuperating at Ghatkopar’s Disha hospital but lost her life. Relatives of deceased are blaming the doctor’s negligence. Angry relatives gheraoed the hospital and the staff and demanded to surrender the license.
Sangita was admitted since a week at Disha hospital. She got critical on Sunday and died as she was not given treatment on time, allege her relatives. Doctors and staff have denied the allegation and this has aggravated the situation more at Disha hospital.
“Sangita was my sister in law and we want this hospital to shut down asap. The doctor who was treating her has run away. I request to all not to operate your relatives in Disha hospital,” said Snehal Gopale.
Another resident Balu Rambhuti said that before Sangita, two other patients have lost their lives to doctor’s negligence.
