The Wishing Factory is all set with its photo exhibition titled ‘Smiles Despite Everything’ which will take place at Piramal Gallery, NCPA, from 24 March to 26 March.
This will be the India’s first ever photo story exhibition which will highlight the lives and stories of people suffering from thalassemia major and leukaemia. Thalassemia is an inherited (i.e., passed from parents to children through genes) blood disorder caused when the body doesn't make enough of a protein called haemoglobin, an important part of red blood cells.
