It usually takes five to 10 days to diagnose cancer after various tests. This leads to delay in treatment of many patients. But now it will be possible to diagnose lung cancer in just 10 minutes. This has been made possible through the oncoPredict test, which is conducted through artificial intelligence.

Many people are suffering from lung cancer in the country. Lung cancer is more common in smokers. The oncoPredict test has shown that cancer can be diagnosed through chromosomal changes. To perform this test, doctors have to biopsy the patient and collect his cells. A slide of these collected cells is to be created and uploaded to the One Cell link. After that, through artificial intelligence, the doctor will know whether the patient's chromosomes have changed or not. One cell's main research says that if changes in chromosomal abnormalities are found, doctors can decide the direction of treatment and start treatment accordingly, said Dr Jayant Khandare. He also said that the most benefit of this test will be the patients coming to Tata Hospital.
