Mental illness will now be treated at the 'One Rupee Clinics'

The ‘One Rupee Clinic’ concept will now also help people with mental illness.

Mental illness is not yet a completely understood subject In India and people suffering from any kinds of psychological problems need attention and this attention will be provided to the people in need by the clinic.

This service started Monday onwards and will be available on stations like Kurla, Ghatkopar, Mulund, Thane, Mankhurd, and Vashi from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Other mental problems including depression, loneliness, fear, addiction will be treated in only one rupee. This facility has started in Ghatkopar.

For this treatment, psychiatrist Dr. Sneha Arya has been brought on board to help people. She will be assisted by Dr. Sagar Mundada on this project.

From today (Monday) this facility has been started at Ghatkopar station. There were 10 to 12 patients from 4 o'clock to 6 o'clock in the evening. All these patients had some kind of addiction,” Rahul Ghule, Head, One Rupee Clinic.
