In a substantial development, amidst rising cases of coronavirus along with Black Fungus in India, cases of Yellow Fungus have been reported from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Yellow Fungus happens to be more dangerous than both Black Fungus and White Fungus. According to reports, the infected patient is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Ghaziabad.

Moreover, the symptoms of the yellow fungus are laziness, loss of appetite, or no appetite at all and weight loss. If an individual is critically ill, the yellow fungus can also cause leakage of pus and slow healing of the open wound and slow healing of all wounds, malnutrition and organ failure and sunken eyes due to eventual necrosis.

According to sources, even though it is not clear as to who is at risk of developing this illness, health experts have reportedly opined that those who have weak immunity should remain on alert and contact a doctor if they notice any symptoms. In addition, citizens suffering from diabetes, cancer and other co-morbidities should also remain on alert and not ignore the symptoms of white fungus infection which could be fatal.

On the other hand, the White Fungus is another fungal infection that develops inside the body just like the Black Fungus. However, it has been said that the White Fungus is more deadly than the Black Fungus and if not detected timely can lead to the death of the patient.

In addition, the White Fungus affects the lungs of the patients as well as other parts of the body including nails, skin, stomach, kidney, brain, private parts and mouth.

The current case has many people bewildered as before this doctors and expert have never seen humans contact yellow fungus. Moreover, the first person to contact yellow fungus also has white and black fungus. 

 Dr BP Tyagi, ENT specialist in conversation with ANI revealed that before this cases of yellow fungus were only reported in reptiles.
