City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) announced its January lottery for 1100 houses in Navi Mumbai’s Taloja, Kalamboli, Kharghar, Ghansoli, and Dronagiri. While talking to Mumbai Live, senior CIDCO official informed that 1100 houses in the lottery will be for the general public and there will not be any reservation on the same.
Earlier on October 2, CIDCO announced its lottery for 14,838 in these five places. However, no applications were filed for the 1100 houses which remained unsold and these houses were mostly reserved for the working journalists. CIDCO has decided to announce the lottery for these 1100 houses alone in January next year.

According to CIDCO’s new resolution, the houses which failed to get any response will be open for an independent lottery. Senior CIDCO official further informed that no reservation policy will be implemented on the remaining 1100 houses in the lottery.
