The 35th phase in the underground work of Metro-3 was recently completed by the officials. As per the plan, this 1.12 km stretches from Siddhivinayak to Dadar, and the reports for the finished work were released on December 16, 2020. With this phase of the underground project, a total of 10.96 km of the Package 4 was completed on Wednesday.

It is said that a total of three Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) were being used for this phase.

Officials also state that the underground work has been completed 100 per cent in four out of the seven packages on the proposed Metro 3 project. The underground work in Package 4 was a big challenge as all the development works in this package were closer to road transports and religious places.
