Cuffe Parade - After Marol residents, who raised objections to the odd working hours of the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) for its Metro 3 project, Cuffe Parade residents too are protesting the sound pollution caused by the project.

The residents have filed a complaint with the Cuffe Parade police station, claiming the project has been adding to the sound pollution in the city. Local resident Robin Jaysinghani has taken the initiaitve in filing the complaint.
Jaysinghani believes that the MMRC is "lying when it says that the workers don’t work during the night. They don’t stop working post 10 pm. We are getting stressed with the noise pollution. If they don’t pay heed to our request, then we will get on to the streets and protest,” said Jaisinghani.

The MMRC's Metro 3 troubles appear to be never ending. The corporation has earlier come in for flak for cutting down trees for the Metro 3 project, and then Marol residents opposed the late working hours of the project. With the Cuffe Parade residents joining the bandwagon, life has just got tougher for the project.
