The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) on Sunday requested land owners that come under the Navi Mumbai Airport Influenced Notified Area (NAINA) to send in their consent letters at the earliest so as to fast-track the development process in the region.

It went on to say that the consent letters must be sent within 10 days of CIDCO publishing newspaper notices.

CIDCO Managing Director, Sanjay Mukherjee said that this will benefit land owners in the region as they will be permitted to carry out development on their land, and consequently gain decent demand for their property.

Although the State Government has been planning to fast track development of the Navi Mumbai Airport since last April, officials have run into some hurdles, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
