Mumbai - Infrastructure creates the form of a city and enables life to go on in a city, in a certain way. 2016 has been a best season considering many developmental projects were started and proposed. Around Rs 80 thousand crores have been expensed for infrastructure development which includes bigger and smaller projects. Let's take a quick note of all those infrastructure projects -
Metro-2 (Dahisar- D N Nagar stretching across 18.5 Km)
Metro-3 (Colaba-Bandra-Seepz, 33.5 Km)
Metro-4 (Wadala-Ghatkopar-Mulund-Thane,Kasarvadavali, 32 Km)
Metro-2B (D N Nagar-Mankhurd, 23.5 Km)
Metro-7 (Andheri E - Dahisar E)
This is a quick snap of metro projects which are in proces, around 50 lakhs of Mumbaikars will be benefited with this project. 10 lakh litres of fuel will be saved and commuters will reach early.
Mumbai will be linked to Navi Mumbai credit to the hard efforts of the government, on 24 December PM Narendra Modi came for the inauguration of Mumbai Trans Harbour Link project (MTHL). The harbour link stretches across 22 km. Around Rs 17,843 crores will be expensed in the project tentatively.
Kala Nagar Highway project in Bandra Kurla complex will start in the end of the month, this will decrease the traffic congestion in Bandra during peak times. Rs 227 crores is the estimated budget of the project.
Kurla-Vakola elevated corridor project will also start on immediate basis. Estimated budget of the project is Rs 155.70 crores.
