Mumbai - Colaba- Bandra- Seepz Metro-3 will rehabilitate residents of 14 chawls in a transit camp in April- May month. Post to which their buildings will be demolished. Metro will be build on the required land and remaining land will be used to for the construction of 20 buildings. Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) have prepared the rough draft which is been approved by the state government. According to the draft, these residents will be shifted to 20 storey tower with a 400 sq feet home. According to the MMRC official, the work will be completed in three years and residents will get home of their own. Meanwhile, ‘Aamhi Girgaonkar’ clarified that they are happy with the project.
