MHADA’s Konkan Housing and Area Development Board to announce lottery for 9,018 houses

Very soon, the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) will announce the lottery of 10,532 houses in the state, of which Konkan Housing and Area Development Board, a wing of MHADA will be coming up with a housing lottery of 9,018 houses.

The Konkan board lottery includes Thane, Virar, Kalyan, Ambarnath, Sindhudurg, and Ratnagiri areas and is the biggest housing lottery by the housing authority of the state.

On August 19, the lottery will be held while forms will be available and registration will begin from July 18. Of the total 9018 Konkan board homes, 3937 will be sold under the ambitious Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY). These houses are located in Shirdone (Kalyan) where there will be 1905 houses and 2032 houses will be available in Khoni (Kalyan) for Economically Weaker Sections.

  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
    Houses- 4455
    Area- Mira Road, Balkum (Thane), Shirdone (Kalyan), Khoni (Kalyan), Antarli (Kalyan), Khoni Hedutane (Kalyan), Kole (Kalyan), and Umbarli (Ambernath)

  • Lower Income Group (LIG)
    Houses- 4341
    Area- Mira Road, Kavesar (Thane), Vengurla, (Sindhudurg), Virar Bolinj, Khoni (Kalyan), Antarli (Kalyan), Khoni Hedutane (Kalyan), Kole (Kalyan), and Umbarli (Ambarnath)

  • Middle Income Group (MIG)
    Houses- 215
    Area- Balkum (Thane), Vengurla (Sindhudurg), Mira Road, Kunwar Bav (Ratnagiri) and Virar Bolinj areas

  • High Income Group (HIG)
    Area- Mira Road, Vengurla (Sindhudurg) and Kunwar Bav (Ratnagiri)

On July 18, 2018, the online registration for the lottery will start on MHADA's website around 2:00 pm and will be open until midnight of August 8, 2018.

Also, applicants who have registered themselves will be able to fill their applications from 2:00 pm on July 19 till midnight of August 9. The EMD amount can be paid till August 10 via different modes including internet banking.
