Mumbai- MMRDA has reached the final stage of bidding shortlisting 29 firms for the Rs 17,750 crore Mumbai trans-harbour link (MTHL) project. 50 companies bid for the project, the construction of this 22 km link will connect Sewri and Nhava. Senior MMRDA officials said they plan to present the contract within six months, so the construction can start after the monsoon. The bridge will connect Mumbai with Navi Mumbai, and once completed it would be the longest bridge in India.
