The construction of the jetty for the Ro-Ro service between Mora and Mumbai, stalled since 2018, has resumed and is expected to be completed by March 2026, according to the Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB), as per the report by Loksatta. Delays have escalated project costs, with the Revas Jetty's budget rising from INR 50 crore to INR 75 crore.
Although the Bhaucha Dhakka Jetty on the Mora-Mumbai Ro-Ro route is operational, work on the Mora Jetty remains incomplete, including access roads to the jetty. This has raised concerns among commuters about whether the service will ever start.

The Ro-Ro service, intended to enable vehicle travel between Mumbai, Alibaug, and Uran, faces skepticism due to competition from the Atal Setu, which many vehicles now use. Despite doubts, MMB Executive Engineer Sudhir Devre has assured that the Mora Jetty project will be completed by March 2026.
