Amid rapid growth in India’s logistics sector, the City and Industrial Development Corporation has initiated plans to develop a large Integrated Logistics Park (ILP) in Navi Mumbai, positioning the region as a major logistics hub.

The project will be developed on around 374 hectares of land near Chirle village in Pushpak Node, leveraging the city’s strategic proximity to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority, the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport, and key infrastructure such as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link.

CIDCO has already prepared a comprehensive master plan dividing the area into seven logistics zones, supported by a network of 45-metre and 30-metre wide roads to ensure smooth connectivity. The development aligns with the Maharashtra government’s MIDC pass-through policy.

As part of the first phase, CIDCO has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) through a competitive bidding process for 12 plots in Land Parcel L1, covering around 72 hectares. The corporation will develop core infrastructure, including roads, water supply, sewerage systems, and stormwater drainage.

Selected bidders will enter into agreements with CIDCO for land allotment and development. The ILP will cater to a range of logistics and allied activities, including warehousing, container freight stations, inland container depots, and light industrial use, in line with the state’s logistics policy.

Officials said the project is expected to boost investment, streamline goods movement, and strengthen Navi Mumbai’s position as a logistics hub of national importance.

Alongside the ILP, CIDCO is also working on major social infrastructure projects such as Educity, Medicity, and Sportscity, further enhancing the region’s growth potential.
